The Luxembourgish driver crashed straight into the trailer of a lorry. Both the female driver and her passenger were critically injured and had to be cut out of the vehicle.
The driver saw the lorry too late and was unable to brake. The lorry driver was en route to Bitburg and at the moment of the crash, turning into a car park.
