
Saar-Mosel-News online reported the incident, which occurred between 10.15 and 10.45pm on Thursday night. A red and white Toyota Corolla was spotted driving through Darscheid at high speed, with a 40 year old dogwalker forced to move out of way to avoid a collision. The police recorded a speed of over 150 km/h between two villages, and upon stopping the car, discovered two young girls in the vehicle who were not wearing seatbelts.
The driver was prevented from driving off, and the police delivered the girls home to their parents.
