Luxembourg Air Rescue was deployed on Thursday afternoon to assist with an emergency in Idar Oberstein, Germany, after a woman fell while hiking near Oberstein Castle. The victim sustained severe injuries, and rescue teams were unable to reach her by land. As a result, the woman had to be airlifted by helicopter before being flown directly to a hospital for treatment.
