The “Coronation Concert” was a major highlight of the long coronation weekend.

Around 20,000 people gathered one day after Charles’ official coronation to enjoy live performances from British stars such as Lionel Richie, Take That, and Katy Perry. Charles III and his wife Camilla, as well as Prince William with his wife and children George and Charlotte, sat in the VIP section.

During an emotional speech, the Prince of Wales addressed his father and said, “Pa, we are all so proud of you.” He also remembered his late grandmother, the Queen Elizabeth II, saying, “And I know she’s up there, fondly keeping an eye on us. She would be a very proud mother.”

Princess Charlotte was also thrilled to be a part of such an event. The little British princess couldn’t contain her excitement during Katy Perry’s performance and sang along with great enthusiasm.
