Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident.
According to reports from local media, three people were onboard the hot air balloon, namely a couple and the pilot. The latter could not avoid a power line in its path, and the hot air balloon fell to the ground immediately upon impact with the line.
Firefighters were quick to arrive on site. The couple had already left the basket, but the pilot was asked not to follow them out.
The lieutenant explained that a power line on the ground could still cause serious harm if current had not stopped flowing.
