According to RTL.de, a 72-year-old patient disconnected the ventilator of her roommate - twice. However, that ventilation was supplying them with vital oxygen. The hospital staff reminded her after the first time that she should not disconnect the ventilation system that provided her with oxygen.
After the second disconnection, the 79-year-old woman had to be resuscitated. Her neighbour was then arrested and suspected of attempted manslaughter.
The 79-year-old victim remains in intensive care.
