The Moselle and Luxembourg fire brigades carried out an unusual exercise on 2 November, responding to an accident involving a bus and a car. After two months of preparation, the firefighters were able to train in the municipality of Angevillers, near the Franco-Luxembourg border.
Gendarmes, paramedics, civil protection and local elected representatives were present to reinforce the credibility of the scenario and facilitate collaborative work by all the players. Thanks to the participation of extras and the staging, the firefighters worked in real-life conditions to rescue 23 “victims”.
Here are some photos of this exercise conducted at nightfall.
