The body of a woman in her fifties was found in the Ballastière pond in the commune of Hagondange around 3.30 pm on Friday. The Grimp (Intervention Group for Hazardous Environments - Groupe d’intervention en millieu périlleux) was charged with recovering the body from the water.
According to the Républicain Lorrain, the body was that of a woman from Meuse. The authorities are currently treating the case as potential suicide.
