The man has been taken into custody where he will be interrogated, according to Dutch police sources on Twitter.
Three teenagers were injured on Friday after being stabbed by the assailant. According to police, the victims were a 13-year-old boy and two 15-year-old girls, who have since been released from hospital after treatment.
The motive for the attack is currently unknown. Police are considering all potential scenarios in the investigation, said an official spokesperson.
