While some passengers were still hoping to reach their destination, the confirmation came on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, all flights departing from Charleroi Airport in Belgium will be cancelled.
The same applies to all flights to Charleroi, which have also all been cancelled due to the national strike movement led by a common trade union front. The information was confirmed by the airport management to the Belgian public broadcaster RTBF.
