According to the latest figures published by Ukraine's Defence Ministry, Moscow faces major human and material losses – though Western estimates are lower.
The Ukrainian General Staff has published figures on Russian losses in the military conflict with Russia. According to them, since February 24, 2022, 1,069,950 soldiers have been lost in Ukraine (killed, wounded, missing, or captured). Around 900 were added in the past 24 hours alone.
In addition, Russia is said to have lost 11,116 tanks, as well as 23,143 armored vehicles, 31,589 artillery systems, 3,558 cruise missiles, 422 aircraft, 340 helicopters, 51,528 drones, 28 ships, and one submarine. However, Western estimates are significantly lower.
