Emergency services freed a trapped kitten from a clothing donation container in Lower Saxony overnight after locals reported desperate meows coming from the unit.
Residents of Glandorf, Lower Saxony, alerted authorities after hearing distressed meows emanating from a clothing donation container in a supermarket parking lot overnight.
Police from Georgsmarienhütte, assisted by local firefighters, forced open the unit and discovered an exhausted but alive kitten inside. The animal received initial care at the police station before being transferred to a shelter, where staff are now seeking adoptive owners.
