A curious altercation unfolded on the evening of Thursday, 20 February, near a police station in Sömmerda, Thuringia, when officers were drawn to the sound of a heated row.

While investigating the noise, police quickly identified the involved parties: a fox had become embroiled in a “heated discussion” with a cat. Fortunately, the encounter did not escalate to violence, as the feline managed to flee the scene before the officers could intervene.
