Fire fighters are estimating damage worth millions.
A kitchen fire alarm was set off at 3.13am, however by the time rescue services had arrived, the building had already gone up in flames.
While this part of the hotel did not house any guests, 63 of them had to be evacuated from the main building due to the smoke caused by the fire.
The cause of the fire is as of yet unknown, according to local police.
The fire was still going by Sunday morning.
The “Schwarzwaldstube” is a 3-star restaurant known not only across Germany, but beyond borders, and is not a stranger to a good amount of Luxembourgers.
