On Sunday morning, emergency services intervened in Schoeneck, where numerous vehicles had been burnt out.
The reasons, or indeed motives, for these fires remain unclear.
According to the local fire brigade, roughly 80 vehicles went up in flames. Foam was used to stop the fire spreading as three hoses were dispersed to tackle the difficult blaze.
No large scale air-pollution has been reported.
