Early Wednesday, the boy’s mother noticed that neither her son nor her Volkwagen Gulf were to be seen and notified the police. The boy was found on the A44 with the hazard lights on and the warning triangle out.
He told police that he “just wanted to drive a little”, reportedly having regularly driven bumper cars and go-karts and even cars on private property.
They said he burst into tears when he was found, and told them he had just wanted to go for a little ride.
He reportedly stopped after feeling unwell and thankfully no one was hurt during his joyride.
