A 57-year-old cyclist died in a road traffic accident near Pluwig in the Trier area on Wednesday morning after being hit by a turning lorry.
The lorry driver, 34, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The Luxembourg Air Rescue service was also on the scene.
