A 22-year-old French tourist suffered fatal injuries in an accident involving the S-Bahn railway system in Munich.
The man had visited the Oktoberfest with a group of people and was making his way home from Laim station when the accident occurred. His foot got caught between the platform and a moving train, dragging him along for a several metres.
The emergency services brought the man to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
