A 20 year old Luxembourger was driving on the B50 but suddenly skidded into oncoming traffic for yet to be determined causes. The car consequently collided into a Volkswagen, driven by a 40 year old man from the Eifel region.
Both drivers were severely injured and were taken to hospital after being treated at the scene. According to the public prosecutor’s office in Trier, the road had to be closed for several hours following the accident.
