The violent incident took place in the car park of an Edeka supermarket in Abensberg in southern Germany on Wednesday evening. One 39-year-old man was shot dead while another person suffered serious injuries.
Police have arrested two suspects who fled the scene in a vehicle. The suspects are reportedly from Kosovo and the victims are Serbian nationals.
While the motive of the crime remains unclear, initial investigations indicate that the suspects and the victims knew each other. Several apartments have been searched and the investigation remains ongoing.
