Luxembourg's fire and rescue services responded to a series of incidents on Wednesday afternoon, including a collision between Lampech and Reckange that left three people injured.

Emergency services were kept busy on Wednesday, responding to multiple fires and traffic accidents across the country. The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported three separate fires in their latest bulletin.

In Rambrouch, bales of hay caught fire, prompting intervention from crews based in Grevels, Nordstad, Rambrouch, and Redange.

Firefighters were also dispatched to deal with burning vegetation between Dillingen and Beaufort, with teams from Beaufort, Berdorf, Waldbillig, and Echternach at the scene.

Another vegetation fire broke out between Kahler and Hivange, requiring the assistance of rescue teams from Kahler, Kehlen, Käerjeng, Steinfort, and Pétange.

In terms of road incidents, one person was injured in Hollerich following a collision between a car and a motorcycle. Emergency crews, including a SAMU ambulance from Luxembourg City, attended the scene.

Meanwhile, a traffic accident between Lampech and Reckange involved two vehicles, leaving three people injured. The victims were treated by teams from Mondercange, Sanem-Differdange, and Esch.

Finally, emergency services from Luxembourg City and Mamer, along with the SAMU, were called to a crash between Mamer and Capellen, where a collision between a motorcycle and a car resulted in another person being injured.
