According to information obtained from the police, the body of a woman was discovered during an emergency response to smoke emanating from a home in Rue Gaffelt. The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) confirmed their intervention at approximately 12:50 PM on Wednesday. Two ambulances from Dudelange, the medical emergency aid services from Esch-sur-Alzette, and emergency services from Dudelange and Kayl were present at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the tragedy have not yet been clarified, and an investigation has been opened.
