On Monday evening, Luxembourg police were called to Wiltz station following reports of a woman screaming in the public toilets.
A police patrol promptly arrived at the scene and discovered a couple inside the facility.
Initial reports from the police indicate that the woman had been assaulted shortly before officers arrived. The victim sustained bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
The suspect was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office.
