PoliceWitnesses sought following Esch-sur-Alzette mugging

Esch police are seeking witnesses following a mugging on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, a woman had her handbag stolen at the Place de l’Exposition, at around 3.30pm on Thursday. She was attacked from behind by two individuals, one of whom grabbed the bag, while the second pushed the woman to the ground, leaving her with minor injuries.

Both suspects ran off via Rue de Cologne and Rue de de Mondercange.

The first suspect was said to be around 1.80 metres tall, Black, wearing black jogging bottoms, a dark green tracksuit jacket and a black cap.

The second was around 1.65 metres tall, Black, with shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing black jeans with a dark jumper or jacket.
