The bus was travelling between the Sandweiler roundabout and Schrassig prison just after 8am on Wednesday when a stone flew off the back of a lorry travelling in the opposite direction and struck the windscreen.
The bus driver is said to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident, as the stone shattered the windscreen just in front of the steering wheel.
Police are seeking information on the lorry from which the stone fell, and have asked the lorry driver to come forward. Any witnesses to the incident are encouraged to contact Remich/Mondorf police on 244 77 1000 or on police.remichmondorf@police.etat.lu.
