Police in Luxembourg are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident in Bertrange and a separate mugging occurred in Ettelbruck.

The Luxembourg police are appealing to the public for information regarding two separate incidents that occurred in recent days.

The first incident took place on 13 January between 6.40pm and 6.45pm on Route d’Arlon, near the roundabout in front of the Bertrange shopping centre. A grey car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian, resulting in injuries to the pedestrian.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has relevant information to contact the Capellen police station at (+352) 244 30 1000 or via email at Police.CAPELLENSTEINFORT@police.etat.lu.

The second incident occurred on Friday afternoon at approximately 3.20pm in Ettelbruck, near the Patton monument on Boulevard J-F Kennedy. A pedestrian was reportedly assaulted by a group of youths, who stole their wallet and mobile phone before fleeing in the direction of the train station.
