The shelter was extended in 2020 due to the pandemic, and will do so once more, to allow Luxembourg's homeless population access to food, medical care, and a roof over their heads. The extension was announced on Friday afternoon by the Ministry of Family and Integration.
The accommodation is managed by the ASBL Dräieck, made up of three organisations: Caritas accueil et solidarité, the Luxembourg Red Cross and Inter-Actions.
Visitors can access a free medical service on site. In addition, those with suspected Covid can be accommodated in a separate structure while awaiting their test result.
