
Although employers said they were not against collective agreements and unions, they want staff delegations to be reinforced and so-called “company agreements” to be introduced, according to the UEL. The principle of joint decisions should then apply.
Labour laws should also be adjusted, say employers, adding that legal certainty is essential for future collective agreements.
The mandatory 13 points that must be negotiated for a collective agreement could, in the eyes of the UEL, be reduced by around half.
Furthermore, the UEL said they had little understanding for the trade unions’ fierce reactions to these proposals.
