Two 'really, really loud' explosions heard

An Eischen resident reported to RTL that he was woken by the explosions early on Wednesday morning: "I fell out of bed. It exploded, twice. Really, really loud; I thought the ATM had been blown up."

The search for the suspects caused major disruption to traffic, particularly affecting school traffic. Buses and pupils were unable to access the bus stop located directly next to the ATM.
