
One of the drivers lost control of his vehicle, for as yet unknown reasons, veering on to the opposite side of the road. This action resulted in a full-frontal collision with a car coming from the other direction. Three people were hurt in the crash, two of whom were taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The accident was attended by emergency services including two helicopters, four ambulances, the police and other teams.
