Police are investigating a knife attack near Luxembourg City’s Hamilius tram stop on Sunday evening that left a 31-year-old man critically injured and another person, still unidentified and wounded.

On Sunday 26 of January at 5.40pm, a 31-year-old man was gravely injured in a knife attack near the Hamilius tram stop in the City. Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene and provided life-saving first aid to the victim.

As the investigation unfolded, authorities discovered that a second person had also been injured. However, this individual has not yet been identified.

The perpetrator remains at large, but authorities are actively continuing with the investigation.
