According to reports, a gas explosion took place at around 7.30am, leaving one of the on-site workers with severe burns. Another worker received treatment for minor burns at the scene. Both were taken to hospital for further medical care.
Initial information suggests the explosion was traced back to a gas heater in a construction container.
Forensics teams inspected the site by order of the public prosecutor’s office. A police report has been drawn up and the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) was also informed of the incident.
