Reports of a visibly inebriated driver in Strassen near Rue des Romains prompted police action late Monday afternoon.

Following the reports, a police patrol swiftly located the driver, who refused to undergo a breathalyser test, leading to the confiscation of their driving licence. Further investigation revealed that the driver had already been banned from driving, resulting in the seizure of their vehicle.

Later that evening, police responded to a report of a drink driver causing damage to a car in Differdange on Rue de Differdange. The driver allegedly left the scene without paying any attention to the damage caused. However, they were promptly identified and stopped by authorities. Subsequent breathalyser testing yielded a positive result, leading to the confiscation of the driver’s licence.
