
Both drivers were behind the wheel whilst being under the influence of alcohol.
In the early hours of Sunday, a police patrol on Rue Mil Neuf Cents in Luxembourg City took notice of a driver at high speeds driving uncontrollably. He was stopped shortly after. After a positive breathalyser test, the police discovered that the driver was not in possession of a valid driver’s license. Upon the police’s request, the driver refused a drug test. He received a temporary driving ban and at the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the driver was fined and the vehicle was secured.
Overnight between Sunday and Monday, an accident took place between two vehicles on the Place de l’Hôtel in Dudelange. Fortunately, no one was injured but one driver had a positive breathalyser test and had his license revoked.
