
A police patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle in the Lintgen area on Tuesday morning. Officers discreetly followed the car and observed as the two occupants entered several apartment buildings.
Upon inspection of these buildings, police discovered that two apartments in Lintgen had been broken into. Meanwhile, additional officers tracked the suspects to Bereldange, where they attempted to carry out further burglaries.
The suspects were caught in the act and immediately detained by police. The public prosecutor's office was notified, and the two individuals were arrested.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the full extent of the burglaries and whether the suspects may be linked to other similar incidents.
