A patrol was dispatched to the scene, where officers encountered two suspects attempting to break open a cashpoint. The suspects fled on foot but were swiftly caught and taken into custody.
Two other attempted burglaries were reported overnight, including a break-in in Clervaux on Thursday evening. The perpetrator gained access to a property on Rue Ley, but was caught by a resident before running away.
In Leudelange, two suspects broke into a home on Rue Belle-Vue, but the residents were stirred awake by the noise, leading the would-be burglars to flee.
Police have launched investigations into both incidents.
