On Saturday afternoon the police were called to an accident on the road between Kehlen and Nospelt. Without any apparent reason a driver lost control of his car after a left turn. His vehicle went off the road, crashed through a nearby fence and overturned in a field. This caused extensive damage. The police found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. His driver’s licence was revoked.

A few hours later, a driver was stopped by a police patrol in Roost after being spotted zigzagging on the road by another driver near Helperknapp. After taking note of his fellow motorist’s dangerous behavior, the driver notified police. It was determined that the zigzagging driver was driving under the influence.

On Saturday evening, a driver crashed into a parked car, before driving away as if nothing had happened. With the help of witnesses, a police patrol was able to locate the vehicle and identify the driver. On site, police officers could determine that he had been drunk driving, and a police report was drawn up.
