The disruption on Friday morning was attributed to a technical fault at the Noertzange command post, as detailed in a press release issued by CFL shortly after 7am. Maintenance teams were on site to address the issue.

At 9am, CFL announced train services in both directions were resuming normally.

In response to the disruption, CFL had implemented a replacement bus service to facilitate passenger travel between Esch-sur-Alzette and Bettembourg.

Additionally, train services between Noertzange and Rumelange also experienced disruptions.

CFL apologises for any inconvenience caused and encourages passengers to stay updated by consulting the CFL mobile application or accessing timetable information via www.cfl.lu.
