The Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL) announced on Friday that signal box issues in Noertzange were identified as the cause.
Repair work is scheduled between Friday night and Saturday morning, resulting in the cancellation of several trains on the Luxembourg City – Esch-sur-Alzette – Rodange and Noertzange – Rumelange lines.
Affected services include the 11.32pm departure from Luxembourg City to Rodange, as well as the 1.18am and 3.18am departures on Saturday.
From Rodange to Luxembourg City, cancellations include the 1.32am, 2.32am, and 4.32am departures on Saturday.
Additionally, the 4.48am train from Esch-sur-Alzette to Luxembourg City on Saturday will not run.
No trains will operate on the Noertzange – Rumelange line on Friday.
