De Block will succeed Thierry Geerts, the current country manager, who is departing Google BeLux after a 12-year tenure. According to a press release from Google, Geerts is “seeking new challenges.”
De Block has worked for Google for almost ten years. He currently oversees sales in Belgium and Luxembourg.
