The first incident occurred shortly after 6.30am on the A3 motorway towards Luxembourg City, where a car and a van collided, leaving one person injured.

Around the same time, another accident took place on the A13 motorway towards Pétange, involving a car that overturned. One individual was injured in this incident as well.

Later, at around 9.40am, two cars collided on the CR307 between Heispelt and Wal, resulting in another injury.

False alarm in Schifflange

In a separate incident, the Schifflange fire brigade was called to the “Op Kraeizheck” woods following reports of a fire.

However, upon arrival, they discovered that the fire was a controlled campfire started by employees of a local crèche, who were using the designated area for this purpose.
