r o9A substation caught fire on Place Joseph Torn in Merl at around 2.30pm. No injuries were reported.
In Bereldange, a chimney fire occurred not long afterwards, but resulted only in material damage.
Two people were injured in a collision between two vehicles on Route d’Arlon, Steinfort, at 3.40pm. Elsewhere, another person sustained injuries after two cars crashed into one another on the A1 near the Howald tunnel at 4.30pm.
