The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps reported three accidents on Thursday, while two motorists had their licences confiscated on Wednesday evening.

One motorist crashed their vehicle between Wahlhausen and Weiler shortly before 6am on Thursday, followed by another collision on Rue Michel Thilges, Wiltz, at 6.45am. Elsewhere, a car overturned on the route between Dudelange and Kayl shortly before 7.30am. Three people were left with injuries from each incident.

On Wednesday evening, police received reports of an intoxicated driver on the roads. Officers visited the man at his home in Reuland at 9.20pm, where they confiscated his licence.

A second motorist was stopped on Rue Marie Curie, Esch, for driving under the influence. He also lost his licence on the spot.
