For the whole of next week, pupils as well as parents can participate in the Neurodiversity Celebration Week hosted by the European Secondary School II. This endeavour has been created by ten students between 11 and 15 years old, with the help of two teachers.

The main priority is to clear up any misconceptions surrounding the terms dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia (movement and coordination disorder), high potential (people with a Full Scale IQ), autism and more.

The goal is to educate further on these subjects in a way that is understandable to everyone. Parents can also attend meetings to better support their neurodivergent child.

There will be flyers and posters each pupil can read, they can attend classes on neurodiversity, and listen to or watch testimonials of any neurodivergent teachers who want to share their experiences.

Last but not least, after a fun quiz about the pupils’ learnings, a prize draw will take place. Ten pupils can win some very exciting prizes!
