HealthcareSWECO/G.A.F./S.W.A.A consortium to build Luxembourg's 'South Hospital'

The syndicate, known for its expertise in large-scale healthcare projects, has been selected to oversee the construction of Luxembourg's new 'South Hospital', with completion expected by 2030/2031.

The architect and engineer consortium SWECO/G.A.F./S.W.A.A won the tender offer to take over construction of Luxembourg’s new ‘South Hospital’. The group, which has offices in Brussels, Bremen, Rotterdam, and Bertrange, has already worked on similar projects, including the Charité university hospital in Berlin, the German army clinic in Hamburg, and the university hospital in Jena.

According to reports from newspaper Tageblatt, construction is expected to last seven to eight years, with first patients being treated at the new institution in 2030 or 2031.
