Police in the capital were alerted to a suspicious gathering near the main train station on Thursday night. Investigating officers found the group at the crossroads between Avenue de la Gare and Avenue de la Liberté.
When one of the men assembled spotted the police, he ran away down Rue de Strasbourg. Police followed out of suspicion and conducted a search of the man’s belongings, finding cash and drugs. A further investigation revealed the man was not living in Luxembourg through legal means, and he was subsequently arrested by order of the public prosecutor’s office.
