There’s little relief from the heat today, even though the morning’s overcast skies are set to bring thunderstorms and rain showers this afternoon. Up to 5 litres of rain per square metre could fall across Luxembourg today, with the rain tailing off slightly in the evening.
On Saturday, Meteolux issued yellow alerts for Luxembourg ahead of the incoming storms.
Temperatures start off hot at 20-22°C in the morning, rising to highs of around 29-31°C in the afternoon, dropping slightly to 23-25°C in the evening.
