When questioned by RTL, the Ministry of the Economy stated that ongoing activities primarily focus on land remediation to facilitate the establishment and expansion of the envisioned business hub. The clean-up work is expected to be completed by 2027 at the latest.
The Ministry further disclosed that concurrent with cleanup operations, construction of access roads is in progress, intended to seamlessly integrate the new business park with existing cycle and pedestrian pathways. The zone’s cycle path will ultimately also be linked to the national cycling network that runs alongside the business park.

One of the companies within the future business park is already known: Joskin is slated to occupy the former Twinerg factory site.
