

According to police, over 60 accidents took place between midnight and midday on Thursday, with the majority resulting in material damage. In several cases, individuals sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for check-ups.
In addition, there were nearly 70 incidents in which vehicles became stuck in snow on the roads, or where roads were blocked to traffic.
One person was injured in an accident on the CR126 between Stafelter and Windhof, blocking one lane.
Police say the road has reopened on the CR181 between Bridel and Fräiheetsbam, following an earlier crash, but warn motorists to be cautious.
Other accidents have been reported on the CR109 near Rue de Koerich, the N11/Route d’Echternach between Dommeldange and Waldhof, and on the CR123 between Mersch and Gosseldange.
