Ricardo Marques was unanimously elected as the new president of the eastern district of the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) during a district congress held in Flaxweiler. He succeeds the late Max Hengel, who was honoured and commemorated at the event.
During the congress, members also unanimously approved two resolutions. The first, titled “Schengen must be alive!”, addresses issues related to the Schengen area, while the second focuses on viticulture.
